Q. How do we know that the land of Israel really loves the Jews?

A. Simply ask it. Mark Twain describes the land in 1867 and found that Jerusalem "has lost all its ancient grandeur, and is become a pauper village". Today Israel is thriving and greener than it has been for 2,000 years.

Lets look at the following photo taken from orbit of the southern part of Israel (From Google Earth). Pass over the image with your mouse to see the same image with lines depicting the border with Egypt. Notice how much greener the land is on the Israeli side. Following the exact contours of the border! If you look closely you can see the same thing following the pre 1967 armistice line (the dotted line in upper right corner). Though it was liberated in 1967, Judea seems to still hold a grudge since we have not annexed yet. How does the land know? If you find this interesting you may want to read like a love story.
